The Story
Basics Homewares is a brand of plastic products for the home that dates back almost 50 years. They manufacture anything from plastic food containers, buckets, basins, jugs, plates or any other plastic container that you can think of.
In 2019 Bambisana Holdings (Pty) Ltd. bought the company.
The new owners decided that the established but unknown brand needed to be revitalised in order to become a prominent player in the market, as it deserves.
The Identity
The concept of the new brand identity takes its inspiration from the one thing all the Basics Homewares products have in common - they are all containers.
The Basics Homewares brand is positioned as affordable, dependable, quality 'basic' homeware products. Nothing fancy. Just what you need.
The identity employs the 'container' device and is designed to reflect the stylish simplicity of its products and the name of the brand.
